TVM Solver

today we learnt how to do a TVM solver. It seems kind of difficult.. not to bad though

today i didn't really learn too much, we just went over the questions 1-10.

Another Math Class

Today we didn't really do much. We just finished up some more of those questions while mr.max went for a phonecall.

Today.

Today all we did was work on more spreadsheet questions. I'd say so far its pretty easy.

Simple Interest

Today we learnt how to make a calculator type thing on excel. We learnt about simple interest aswell.

Today we worked on the exercise budgeting, well i worked on Accelerated math.

Working Day

Today all we did was work on Accelerated Math.

Reviewed.

Today we just reviewed 2 of the questions that we had to do on the test we did yesterday. I kind of understand it better now... Not so much though.

Test Day

Well today we had to do two questions for a test. I understood how to do the work, but its more so difficult to put it in a graph...

Today we just did corrected one of the questions. Nothing out of the normal...

today we learned how to get the best possible answer for number 5. It seems pretty simple for now.

Linear Inequalities/Twitter

Well today we learned how to graph linear inequalities. We also figured out how to use twitter, thanks to mr.max.

Class.

Well today we just did excercise 2 and 3. it seems pretty easy so far.

Linear Inequalities

Today we just did notes on linear inequalities. So far i think its the easiest thing we've learned so far this year.

Test Review

Well today we just did an overall review of the test we have tomorrow.

Exponential Functions

Today we went over question 3 on the exercise. I didn't really understand it before but now i think its pretty easy. We have a test on Thursday, which i was kind of worried about before, but now i'm not since i found out we get to use a computer.

Exponential Regretion

Today we learned about Exponential Regretion. It seems pretty similar to the stuff we learned last year. But it seems pretty easy for now.

Catch Up (PT 2)

Today was just another catch up day. Its great to have catch up classes.

Today was a fairly good day. Of course only girl in the class again.. It was just a catch up class. No one showed up so we got a day to catch up on everything. Easy day!

Today was basically the same as last class. We solved one of the questions, and the rest of the exercise is due.

today was basically the same class as yesterdays class. We learnt more about Quadratic Functions. Just basic stuff really..

Today we learned the difference between a function and a relation. Easy stuff from last year./

Today was just a working class on word problems.
Same stuff as yesterday basically.

Word Problems (September 23rd)

Wejust did the same stuff as we did yesterday. Word problems. Easy once you get the hang of it :)

September 22nd..

We learnt how to do word problems solving linear equations.
Its a bit hard but not too bad.

Adding/Subtracting - September 21.

Well after not getting this for the longest time I finally understand it.
We learnt about adding and subtracting method instead of solving by substitution.

september 18th

todays math class is weird.
the questions look very easy, so it makes them even harder!!

STEPS to solve by substitution (september 17)

Okay well todays assignment is to tell the steps on how to solve by substitution.

So i'll use an example to start of..
L1=2x+4y=8
L2=3x+y=13

(2x=4y=8)

step 1: then you take 4y and subtract it over to the other side
2x=8-4y

step 2: then you divide by 2 to get X by itself
x=(8-4y)/2

step:3 then you substitute it in to "L2"
3[(8-4y)/2]+y=13

step 4: then you multiply everything by 2.
6+16-8y+2y=26

step 5: collect the like terms now.
22-6y=26-22
-6y=4

step 6: to get y by its self, divide everything by -6
therefore, y= 4/-6 OR 2/-3

Now, you plot it in into one of the first solutions about
3(2/-3)+y=13
-2+y=13
y=13+2
y=15

THEREFORE: your plot would be [(2/-3),(15)]

Harder class.

Well, its still the same stuff as yesterday. I'm still not understanding how to find the X intercept... But i'll figure it out :)

Reflections Monday September 14th

Today was another easy class. Basically just a review from grade 10.
It was just a review of solving by substitution
We also did a mental math, which wasn't too hard.

First Math Class Lesson

Basically a review from last year Y=MX+B, system of linear equations.. Just stuff like that. Easy Peasy :)

Goals
